On November 27, Ambassador Zhao Weiping met with Hon. Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of the Republic of Namibia, during which he briefed Hon. DPM on China’s Global Development Initiative and exchanged views on issues related to China-Namibia relationship. Amb. Zhao said he expected both sides to strengthen practical cooperation in agriculture, education and other areas and push forward China-Namibia relationship to continuously achieve new developments.

Hon. DPM said she attached great importance to the development of China-Namibia relationship and hoped to work closely with the Chinese side. She also hoped that Namibia will benefit from China’s relevant initiatives and plans to support Africa’s development.
