On October 16–17, the Chinese Embassy in Namibia participated in the First Diplomatic Fair hosted by the Ministry of International Relations and Trade of Namibia, actively introducing China’s policies and initiatives, the achievements of practical cooperation between China and Namibia, and traditional Chinese culture.

The Embassy presented Volumes I–V of Xi Jinping: The Governance of China to the local friends who visited the Chinese booth. The Embassy also distributed informational materials on China’s zero-tariff policy, the corporate social responsibility of Chinese enterprises in Namibia, China-aided projects in Namibia and scholarship application guidelines.

The Chinese booth featured interactive activities such as the pitch-pot game, traditional Chinese costume(Hanfu) try-on and traditional Chinese medicine consultation. A young diplomat from the Embassy performed the famous guzheng piece Fishing Boats at Dusk on stage, receiving a warm welcome from the local audience.
