On October 14, Ambassador Zhao Weiping and Honourable Ambassador Selma Ashipala-Musavyi, Minister of International Relations and Trade of the Republic of Namibia, jointly signed the Exchange of Letters on the China-Aided Smart City Pilot Project in Namibia on behalf of the respective governments.

The project aims to enhance Namibia’s overall governance capacity in public security, road safety and public services through digital and information technologies.
